Methodology

Opponent classification is based on PPDA (Passes Per Defensive Action), with a PPDA below 9.0 indicating a high press. Team performance against a style is measured by a weighted average of xG (Expected Goals) for and against, turnover rate in the defensive third (vs. high press), and successful final third entries (vs. low block) over the last 15 relevant matches.
