Methodology

The core NVT Ratio is calculated as: Market Capitalization / 90-day Moving Average of Daily On-Chain Transaction Volume (USD). The 'Golden Cross' signal is generated when the 28-day Simple Moving Average (SMA) of the NVT Ratio crosses above the 180-day SMA. This indicates that recent valuation growth is significantly outpacing long-term utility trends.
