What It Does

The system aggregates historical damage data including knockdowns, concussive blows, and total significant strikes absorbed to the head. It compares these figures against recovery times and recent performance to calculate a Durability Index. This analysis identifies fighters who have reached a tipping point where their physical resistance is compromised.

Why It Matters

Durability is a finite resource in combat sports. Identifying when a fighter's 'chin' has cracked provides a massive edge in Method of Victory markets. Markets often overvalue a fighter's past reputation while ignoring recent neurological fragility.

How It Works

We track every significant strike absorbed and weight them based on impact severity and recency. The model looks for 'wobble events' where a fighter is hurt but not finished. We then correlate this damage mileage against the opponent's knockout power to predict the likelihood of a stoppage.

Methodology

Calculates a Damage Saturation Score using a weighted sum of career significant head strikes and knockdowns suffered. Applies a decay function where recent damage impacts the score 2.5x more than damage from 5+ years ago. Integrates 'Chin Check' variables based on knockdown-to-strike ratios from the last 3 fights.
