How It Works

The pillar first identifies and tags the top 1% of governance token holders using on-chain data. It then analyzes shifts in token delegation and historical voting records for these key wallets. Finally, it calculates a concentration score and assesses the alignment of major holders on upcoming proposals.

Methodology

Analysis is based on a 30-day rolling window of token movements and delegations. The Gini coefficient is calculated across the top 500 token-holding addresses to measure voting power inequality. Wallets are tagged using heuristics and data from platforms like Nansen to identify VCs, DAOs, and founders.
