What It Does

The pillar systematically monitors a curated list of high-impact crypto influencers across platforms like X (Twitter) and YouTube. Using natural language processing, it quantifies their collective sentiment, identifies emerging narratives, and tracks which specific tokens are being promoted. This raw social data is then synthesized into actionable, quantitative indicators.

Why It Matters

In crypto, narratives drive capital, and influencers are the primary drivers of those narratives. This pillar offers a data-driven edge by measuring the consensus of influential voices, often providing a leading indicator for assets poised for a surge in retail interest.

How It Works

First, we maintain a weighted list of KOLs based on their follower count, engagement, and historical accuracy. Next, our system continuously ingests their content, classifying sentiment and extracting token mentions. Finally, this data is aggregated into key indicators like the Bull/Bear Ratio, giving a clear, real-time signal of influencer consensus.

Methodology

The core metric is the Weighted KOL Sentiment Score (WKSS), calculated on a rolling 24-hour window. The formula is: WKSS = Σ(KOL_Weight * Post_Sentiment) / Total_KOL_Weight. KOL_Weight is a proprietary score based on follower count, engagement rate, and a historical impact factor. Post_Sentiment is scored from -1 (bearish) to +1 (bullish) using a crypto-specific language model.
